Participants will be put into patrols (preferably not with members of your own unit) and will participate in base/stunts activities in which you will be assessed for leadership / teamwork / initiative skills / etc.
Participants / Helpers must provide there own Food for the day.
Those staying on from the Unit Management course are required to bring own food for all meals including Saturday night Dinner.
For those travelling distance, arrival can be Saturday evening if required.
Participants required to bring:
- Copy of your Individual Activity Log (if you are participating in Saturday evening activities)
- Pen / paper
- Bring your Passports
- Required Food as above
- Hat / Sunscreen
- Personal First Aid Kit
For those also participating in the Saturday Unit Management Course, they are able to stay overnight in a tent around the Hall, bring sleeping gear, tent, personal gear, own food/cooking equipment (no open fires permitted).
For those staying there will be supervised Free Time - beach activities available (bring your swimmers). After dinner there is an opportunity of completing Venturer Common Core Units (OAS) including Elearning modules which can be put towards your Award Scheme and External Qualifications.
