Additional Information

Participants will be introduced to and learn about the various roles and activities that are relevant to the successful management of a Venturer Unit.

Participants / Helpers must provide there own Lunch.

Morning and Afternoon Tea will be provided. (Those staying on to participate in the Initiative course are required to bring own food for all meals including Saturday night Dinner.

For those travelling distance, arrival can be Friday night and stay Saturday if required.

Resource attached please read - DO NOT PRINT, a copy will be supplied at the course.

Participants required to bring:

- Copy of your Unit's Constitution

- Copy of the Long Term / Short Term Program for last year or the coming year

- Copy of your Individual Activity Log

- Pen / paper / folder / hat / sunscreen

- Bring your Passports

- Required Food as above



For those also participating (including Helpers) in the Sunday Initiative Course, they are able to stay overnight in a tent around the Hall, bring sleeping gear, tent, personal gear, own food/cooking equipment (no open fires permitted).

For those staying there will be supervised Free Time - beach activities available (bring your swimmers).  After dinner there is an opportunity of completing Venturer Common Core Units (OAS) including Elearning modules which can be put towards your Award Scheme and External Qualifications.
