Information about the Leaderbuild Program
As a major priority for Membership Growth, we need more adults in Scouting to deliver and support the Youth Program through program delivery and outdoor activity (including Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics).
In short, more adults allow for more youth members to participate in Scouting.
I am extending an invitation to you to attend our Region’s first Leaderbuild Training Session to be held at Lake Heights Scout Centre on Saturday, 27th July 2019, commencing at 9.00am (morning tea included).
The Leaderbuild Program has been successful in the Victorian Branch in attracting adults to Scouting and we are hoping for the same or similar results across our Region and NSW Branch.
I have attached a brochure which gives you some information about the program and what you will receive at the conclusion of the training session.
It is expected that the session will take no longer than 2 hours and will be conducted by Belinda Francis, Deputy Chief Commissioner, Group Support & Growth Strategy.
Our aim for this training session is twofold;
This is a major initiative of our Region and a cornerstone objective to develop a strong foundation for continuing membership growth into the future and as a result, I would like to see you involved.
