Brief Summary:
A fun training weekend for LEADERS! This is a camp where you will be able to try out activities that you may not have the opportunity to in your groups, you may get to try new activities that can be converted to suit your section nights. You will be able to spend time with other leaders - getting ideas, working with them, getting to know them, organise inter group meetings and so much more. It can be used as part of your training, you will gain skills you didn’t know.

E1 contains directions to "The Farm" at Nerriga. Please note - completing an online registration does NOT require an E1 to be completed. The E1 may be used if unable to register online.

Additional Information

ACCOMMODATION: BYO (Tents, Campertrailers, etc). No huts available. 

WHAT TO BRING:

  • Sleeping Gear
  • Toiletries
  • Dilly Bags
  • Gloves (preferably leather gardening)
  • Hat
  • Warm clothing
  • Good Boots
  • Sunscreen
  • Insect/Sun Protection
  • Eye Protection
  • Chainsaw (only need some)
  • BYOG - This is an approved camp where alcohol is allowed in moderation. 

SPECIAL ITEMS:

  • Bring along your best damper recipe along with ingredients and we can have a cook off (you may need to bring your cooker as well).

HOW TO GET TO POW WOW:

Head for Nerriga on the Braidwood Road

18 km out of Nerriga (from Nowra)  - cross the Jerricknorra Creek, slow down here and look for a sign that says B35  - there should be dirt road on the right hand side called `The Ningee Nimbell Creek Road' (NOTE: not on GPS or maps as it has just been named). Following this road for approximately 3 km, left hand side says 309  - this is it, drive in.

If coming from Braidwood

It is roughly 35 km out from Braidwood and look for the street sign on the left - `The Ningee Nimbell Creek Road'
